MOR-ryde stairs
We have the MOR-ryde stairs, 2 questions:
Did you cover the stair treads?
Can you use a screen door grab bar?
Thank you all!

We have not covered ours and we had to move our grab bar up a little.

We also have the MorRyde stairs. We installed the screen door grab bar, just make sure it clears the stairs when stored. There was actually lots of room. Side note, we also bought the additional railing that MorRyde offers for the stairs. Works good, and for the most part, would have been an easy install, except on our 3810, because of the cabinet directly across from the door, the railing hit it and prevented stairs from fully closing/latching. Solution was to re-drill the holes in the railing a bit higher (lowering the railing a bit), and now it fits fine. The 3810/11 model may be the only one with this problem?

I put tread carpets on mine, looks great. I had to cut a notch in the one where the latch is. Just make sure you buy a carpet tread that wont unravel once you cut it.

We have 4 steps. We would like to purchase the MorRyde handrail. Has it helped with getting in and out? Is it sturdy? We really do not like these steps. Too much dirt & debris in RV and webs under the steps. A lot of work to clean them before putting up. Would like to cover them, but afraid even more dirt and critters hiding underneath and inside crevices.

About the handrail situation
Look at Stromberg Carlson extended assist handle
They make the grab rail bolted to the side of your trailer
The extended model is 10" one way and 13" longer the other way.
You can reach it from the ground with the MorRyde Step Above stairs
Simply unscrew 4 existing screws and install new handle in same space with sealer and new screws. About $60 online

We just installed the 4 step model on our 3750FL. The only mod I did was grind down the aluminum threshold because I needed a bit more clearance so the door would close easier.
We did get the optional step rail , and it and the foldaway handrail that comes on the trailer combined makes it easy for entering and exiting. I am not graceful and very glad we got the rail and still have use of the fold away too. So far we love the steps.

I have installed the morRyde hand rail. It is very sturdy. Easy install. We have the 4 step version, $68.80 at Tweety's.
