Glass front cabinet door troubles
The Problem: When my wife opened the door to the cabinet space over the dining area, the glass fell out and cut her slightly. The glass didn't break, but scared her as might be expected. Inspection of this door and other doors with glass in them revealed that glass is glued in with hot glue. Door by door inspection further revealed that there was a scarcity of quality control to ensure that sufficient glue was applied to secure the glass. 50% of them showed less than stellar workmanship and to be potential hazards.
The fix: My wife has a hobby hot glue gun and glue sticks. Cleaning all surfaces and reapplying glue made the glass secure and the campers happy.
The moral: If the glue fails, gun it.

I'm sure glad she wasn't hurt. Your BS has more glass doors than our non-BS does but I'll now check those we do have -- soon as we get back to our Montana. Thanks for the headsup.

We had one of those glass doors where the glass popped out only on one corner. All of a sudden we could not close the door right, it latched, but there was a lot of play.
Fix, heated up the glue, pushed glass back into position, reglue. (Service center work)
So, far, so good.

What about clear silicone or calk of some sort? Just like putting that around the inside of the cabinet, would that work?
