3910FB

New to the forum and we have been fifth wheel owners before. Nancy and I are about to pull the trigger on a 2015 3910FB with full body paint. Our questions are: list price is 95k and we are down to $62200.00 from a out of state dealer, is this a great price? and how will buying it 750 miles away be when we try to get warranty work done?

62K with Full body paint????? heck yeah that is a great priceYou folks on the East Coast get all the good prices us in the West have to pay for shipping..I paid 68K for a (almost)fully Loaded 2015 3735MK Without full body paint, as far as Warranty work I would think Any Keystone Dealer would take care of that but I would ask the Selling Dealer that Question......Great floor plan by the way

Price sounds good to me. 750 Miles could be dicey, if lots of warranty work, which we experienced with our 2015 3910FB

What kind of issues have you had with your 3910?
We have been looking for a year and this is the first one that we have been willing to make an offer on.

Sounds like a great price but like any rv there will be some kinks to get ironed out.

Andy, we bought a 3910 last july and love it. Havn't used it a hole lot but the only issue was the led lights under the awning. they just wernt attached right but they were replaced. We have only stayed in it about 30 nights so the jury is still out but we love it.Brent

Well we made the deal. It is the one we both fell for,

Joe at Lloyd Bridges RV in Chelsea Michigan came thru with a deal

It's 750 miles to go get it, but it will give us a road trip to try it out.

Hope we love it as much as you do yours Brent!

Go to the home page and read the topic on posting photos. You have to use an off-site storage site (photobucket, tinypic, etc.) and post the links on the forum for the photos to appear.

If anyone has anything that we need to really watch for while doing our delivery walk through, please let us know. This is our first new one.

Andy and Nancy-- You got a great price on your new unit, congratulations! Go to the home page and print out a couple of the PDI's that are on there. They give you a good idea on what to bring to the PDI and what to look for while doing the PDI. Take your time, don't let the dealer rush you and make sure your dealer has all of the tanks full or near full to see if they leak and make sure they show you how to dump the tanks, use the level-up system completely(including how to use it in the manual mode also), show you how the thermostat works, how the water heater works both on electric and gas, how the furnace works and try it out, how the A/C or A/Cs if you have two work and try them out, make sure you know how to light the stove and how the frig works on both gas and electric if it is not a residential unit and I could go ON and ON but I'm sure there will be others to post here to add things to check. Also, if possible, make reservations at a campground somewhere near your dealer for a couple of nights to get used to the unit and to be able to check things out prior to towing it back to Arkansas. You may find things that you did not catch in the PDI and rather than tow it all the way back and have to tow it back up to Michigan to have work done you can have it done right away. I'll be sending you an email so watch for it shortly!
Again, congratulations and enjoy that new unit and there is nothing better than the smell of a fresh unit!

Thanks for the feedback, every little bit helps. We think that staying up there a couple nights is a great idea and we had not even thought about that.

We like the unit. Problems that came up after a couple of months included leaking slide, leaking toilet, plumbing leaks in the kitchen and convenience center, LED light failures, delamination of both forward cargo doors, cracking of front door hinges, failure of the microwave, incorrect installation of the bedroom black tank flush valve, and as I respond to your question, the refrigerator is dead. Except for the refrigerator, for which I have an appointment with the dealer, all has been fixed either by me or the dealer.

We are glad it has all been dealt wit and repaired. We will definitely keep our eye on these things and see if we have the same issues.
This is such a step up from our old 30' with no slides.

Forgot to add that the sink countertop cover has warped, one dinette chair broke, and now a recall on our steps.

Surprised no one has mentioned tires. Maybe the new ones come with "G" rated, if not something you might think about having them swap out.

I have been reading on the tire subject, and coming from a trucking background, that will be addressed. We will probably try and use the tires that are on it for a while, just because we are on a short (150 to 200 mile) leash for the near term. It has the trailer king ST and before we do anything seriously long distant, they will be changed.

Kind of funny. When I Googled the unit for price comparisons, I think your unit came up first. It was a used unit at Lloyd Bridges.

Yes we did buy it from Lloyd Bridges, but it is not used.
