Actually 5 hours labor is about right......"along with all the plumbing pipes, elbows, valves, fast flush connector and sensors" Again the charge for all of that plus cross bracing on both tanks and fresh arctic package material was the above mentioned 135.00. Labor was 75.00 per hour for 8.5 hours and there were 3 guys working on it.

Still think 1600.00 is to high unless the shipping To CA is outrageous.
Oh..they did use flexible fittings on both tanks.

90 for shipping, hourly rate for them is 115.00 and no lubracation if you know what I mean. the tank was 185. they do not use any flexable fittings all ABS fittings and glue.

Don, There's no reason they can't use flex (rubberized) couplers. I would not go with the rigid fittings. sorry....

After I saw how the tanks are mounted, and how much of a bind the lines were in, I would not let them install without the rubber couplings.

BTW... I was charged 8.38 for the flexible coupling. The cost of the tank has really gone up and the labor rate of 115.00 is ...high..But that is California..Shipping was reasonable..
Anyhow you are now as good as new and that is what is important..
