San Antonio Boat and RV Show

We just returned from visiting the San Antonio Boat & RV show. It was really alot of fun with many 5th wheels to review along with travel trailers. We still like the new Montana's and met several current Montana owners who expressed the same comment. The show runs Jan 27-Jan 30 at the Alamodome. Have Fun!

Phil, Susan kept asking how the stock market did today as I moved her away from a new 3400! I did not tell her about the engraving!...Shopping is great fun as long as you come home with all your money.

Tim that is no way to think! We must all do our part to keep the economy going and just think of all the fun a new unit would be! Myself, I head back out to the farm, where my 2980 is stored and sit and watch that fully paid for unit with joy and figure out how many more mods I can make to the unit!

No problem Phil! Maybe with a new unit or a older one you can all come on up the Nebraska for the MOC Central Plains Regional Rally in July! OK, Back to the subject and the visitation of the Montana displays at the Shows! Nothing better, IF you can just walk through and drool and do a lot of hoping!

Ron,, I am with you--with a fully paid off Montana--I get to think of mods! Already found a few ideas by looking at the new Montys.
We did pick up a Montana brochure and the MOC was listed on the back cover--nice advertisement.

Tim,
Next time I see Susan I'll tell her how close she came to being a new Montana owner. Like, all she had to do was tell you she wanted one.

Darn, If I knew it was going on we could have come on up there. We need to get out for a little.

Don't forget the Houston RV show, Feb 9-13, 2011.

Wayne,
Susan discussed it with our daughter in Salt Lake City--her advise was to get a new one. Someone else I have to stay away from for a few days until the show is over.
We went into an Airstream--I did not realize they were made of gold! For $69K you could get a 22 footer while across the way a new 3400 was being offerred for $52.5K--A little hard to believe the Airstream could compete.

If success in the stock market is the criteria for the purchase of a new rig, I would think after today you are pretty safe..May try to steam down there this week end and scope out the pretties.

Tim,
You know Susan would not be interested in an Air Stream after the Montana. Geesh!

I was wondering if the 2012 show will be at the same time and place in San Antonio as we will be in the area During Dec and January 2012.
