Have you named it?
How do you refer to your Montana? The rig? Trailer? 5ver? Monty? 'Ole Bess? Enquiring minds want to know!

We call ours "The Monty". Have been talking about coming up with a name to put on the back, but can't decide exactly what yet. LOL

Rich,
We're like you, we've called everything we ever had going back to a 8' camper, a camper. I've tried to break myself of that on the Monty, it seems to be "dissing" it, but I can't break the old "camper habit".

We call ours Monty just because we didn't come up with anything else in the beginning and now it seems to late. We were going to call the new TV Rex because that was Monty Montana's horses name but Ed referred to it as Brutus the first time he drove it so the TV is Brutus. Our previous 5er and TV were lightning and thunder. The 5er was thunder because thunder always follows lightning.
Happy trails................

Right now it's mostly "baby". You know, as in "Gee, we sure missed you while you were in storage, baby!" In about 14 months that will change to "home." Just can't wait!

We call ours "The Wind". This is our user name and it is also what is on our license plate on the "Monty". We envy all the ones that are retired and see all the states. We have a few years to go on that subject..

Old habits are hard to break. As kids we went camping, we had a hunting camp up in the mountains , we went to boy scout camp, many of our friends had summer camps. Whatever it was, tent, Old school bus, whatever it was a "camper' and you went "camping" The first time I heard someone call a camper a "coach" I wondered what in the world they were talking about. Now at times when I say "camper" folks wonder what in the world I am talking about. The difference between a camper and a coach is about $50,000..but mine is still a "camper"

I had a houseboat for a few years, I called it The Liberty Day, all Firefighters will understand, when I got my first Monty I call it The Liberty Day Two, now I am on my second Monty, so it is The Liberty Day Three.

We call our Monty "Plan B". If things don't work out we can always go to "Plan B". We have the name on the side by the door in modest blue letters as a reminder. Some Monty owners who have seen our unit want to know why a 2980RL has a "Plan B" model and then we explain it to them and they say "ooooooh".
