Its a little winding in Ca. but a good road ,if traveling west in late afternoon your looking into the setting sun.

Watch out for the logging trucks, they want BOTH SIDES of the road.

There is a CA inspection station on the road, where they check for fruit and such. Like going into a foreign country.

We will never again do CA.

Not a bad road at all.plenty of places to let faster traffic pass., But, watch out for those fruit inspection stations, they can hold you up for 4-5 seconds.

The tunnel that divides ore. & Ca. has a clearence of 15 feet and is always lighted and a nice rest stop on the Ca. side.
