Wife found new feature

Last night, laying in bed awake, I heard the bedroom A/C come on. OK, that is kinda normal since we are in S Texas. Then while it is running I hear a strange new noise. OK, what is broke now?

I get up, get my glasses, and realize the heater is running. Seems the CCC2 has a feature called AUTO on zone 1. It looks at the temperature and if it goes up, the A/C comes on and if it goes down the heater comes on.

Somehow, the DW put it on Auto when she turned on the rear A/C and all was fine till in the middle of the night when the zone 2 A/C cooled the rear area down and the CCC2 thought it was cold.

Still learning all the "features"

Jim

I woke up one morning to find the AC blowing in the bedroom and the heat blowing in the living room. I have to be careful on how I have the settings in the living room so it doesn't happen again.

The heat and A/C on at the same time took us by surprise till we read the book and figured out how to use the system.

Nothing like waking up to your appliances battling it out.
