Stick house water traps.

We leave our "stick house" for many months at a time. When the house is unused there is a tendency for the water in the traps under toilets and sinks to evaporate leaving a direct air connection into the sewer, Bsforre our last trip I floated a thin film of cooking oil over each water surface in the toilet bowels and sink traps. We just returned home after six months on the road and found all toilet and sink traps full of water. I don't think we lost a drop.
