Campground office burns to the ground!

Yes, it happened at 5am this morning, the office was struck by lightening and burned to the ground. The popular campground is Tomorrow Stars on rte 70 in Springfield Ohio.
The office included the rec room, bingo hall and a small kitchen. Everything was lost, all the records, computers and "cash/checks" or proceeds for the weekend. At this time, they are waiting for the health dept to allow them to open back up.
We frequent this cg often, nice pool and people, had the Great Lakes regional rally there in 2007, so some of you might remember the place.
This was a nice cg for travelers crossing Ohio for overnights or longer stays. Hope they get everything back to normal soon!

Oh No. We have reservations for July 8-15 with our grandsons. I will have to call this week to reconfirm. Made the reservation after several recommendations of fellow MOCers. It is a shame when this happens. We have been at several CG's that a good lightning strike would have been a great improvement, but it sounds like this is not one of them.

Just awful. Good campgrounds with nice facilities seem to be few nad far between these days.

Sorry to hear this, as you know we have stayed there several times and had a wonderful weekend/week every time.
