Putting The Monty To Sleep :-(

It is that time of the year in Northwest Wisconsin when the leaves are falling and most of the CG are closed for the season. So this weekend I am starting to put the Monty to sleep for the long Wisconsin winter. We did had a great year, no major problems with the the Montana's or TV. In June my daughter gave us a third Grand baby Girl her name is Zoe! We have sort of family tradition with the babies their first camping bath on the picnic table! She really liked it too! Otherwise the computer says 87 weeks to retirement, but who is counting?! Next year 2008 should be our last full year to work. Some time in the future winterizing the Monty will mean going South or West really fast!

Happy Camping to all!

Bob and Nancy,
The time will fly, and the Monte will be put to work, giving you two a new lifestyle, and so many new experiences.
Take care, Ozz and Sue

Time will go fast EXCEPT FOR THE LAST 65 DAYS Seems like those are crawling though I expect it is that way for most of us. We have to actually wait till March when DW can retire. Then it is off we go Wisconson will be on of our SUMMER spots. DW is from Antigo and Richland Center areas. Then like you said winterizing is just a matter of moving south or west... Be patient...it will get there. See you out there somewhere

The time will pass quickly and when you get to the last few months you will be saying "that's the last time I will have to do that".

we had our last outing also for this year and the 5ver will be put to sleep in the next day or two. it did freeze this wkend already in NW Iowa, but we were camping in it so it stayed warm . it was a beautiful weekend! only 4 or so months to go ... sometimes when we get the itch to just be in our 5ver, we turn the heater way up and spend some time just watching TV while the blizzard winds blow. and we live vicariously thru all of you who head south , sigh. some year ....

Know the feeling.
This weekend may be our last trip this year(unless we get another nice weekend, that is.)
It's supposed to get down to 28-30 @ night here in MI where we're going.

Don't worry spring is'nt that far away. (Yeah Right)

We are in Virginia. Frost the last 3 nights. We too will be camping this weekend for the last time. The 50th Urbanna, VA Oyster Festival is Friday and Saturday. So many oysters and only two days. I like the idea of sitting in the 5er with the heat up. We will try it.
389 workdays to retirement and away we go.
