Front Bedroom Cable Maintenance?

Does anyone know if there is lubrication maintenance that should be done on the cable system for the front bedroom slide?

No lubrication needed It will attract dirt just wipe them down with a rag no your bare hands just in case there is a broken strain of cable

In our case I do use a dry silicone spray on the rollers underneath each time we move.

I don't have any cable slides, but I use PTFE Dry Lube on the rails and rollers of our Schwintek and Hydraulic slides. It doesn't attract dirt like other lubes.
I also use it on the rods of our hydraulic jacks. Many people use hydraulic fluid or ATF, but they stay wet a long time and if you're parked on a sandy spot, it just makes a mess. I wipe our off with a microfiber cloth, then spray the PTFE dry lube on them.

The only maintenance normally is to check cables for proper adjustment and fraying. No lube needed though I do hit the bottom rollers with a little dry lube.



If the slide 'jingles' rattles or squeals, then you need to do a cable adjustment.

Pull your slide in a little and use dry lub on chain where the motor is also there are pulleys at the corner you can lube.also the rollers on the underside of slide.
