Weight on roof of 05 Mountaineer

I want to go onto my roof I am a pretty big guy about 270 and wondered if there any restriction. I dont think so as the fellas that put in a fantastic fan for me last year were probably 230 big fella. Just dont want to do something that would cause any damage. A freind of mine has also been up there he is about 210-220

You are about my size. I have been on the roof of my Montana several times without repercussions. However, if you feel uncertain, you might take a couple of 2'x2'x 3/8" pieces of plywood up there to distribute your weight as you move around. You can do the math, but you get significantly reduced pounds per square inch from a 2'x2' surface than from, say, a size 12 shoe. Happy RVing......

I agree with Stiles RM - anything to reduce the weight on a single point is helpful. Hands and knees also help spread the weight. I'm just never sure how much it will take, or if there are weak spots like around the roof equipment.
