rubber roof repair

I have looked thru all of my books that came with the camper and cant seem to find anything on my roof. Is there a website or phone number someone might have to get a patch for the roof? Had a nice little branch fall off our oak tree and put a inch long rip in the top. thanks for the help.

Sorry bout your roof (been there, oak tree got us too).

I believe the roof is by Dicor, seems to me, someone posted they have a web site. Dicor.com???? Glenn might have a link on his web pages???

I want to say Al got a repair kit at the dealer or at CW. He keeps in the basement of the rig, just in case.

Good luck, sure glad you guys found it early on.

Thanks Carol. I just got lucky when mowing around the camper. There were some smaller pieces of broken branches, kind of rotten, around the front of the bedroom. Later on a light bulb went on above my head and I went up on the roof and found the hole. Thank goodness for duct tape. We just had alittle over 3 inches of rain last week. That would not have been good to find leaking thru the bedroom area. Would have been hard to get the tape to stick in the rain storm. I will try the website. Thanks again. Terry

Terry,
You can repair the spots in the roof with Eternabond. It comes in 4" wide rolls and can be purchased at Camping World an at a lot of RV accessory stores. It sells for about $80 a roll, but you can purchase it on line at www.bestmaterials.com and follow the links for roof repair. The last roll I got was about $45. It's good stuff. When you put it on, be sure you wipe the spot to be repaired with rubbing alcohol to remove and residue and get it clean. When you go to stick the tape down, be careful because when you stick it down, it is stuck!

I can vouche for the quality of this product as well. I had a branch put a tear on the edge of my roof and got two 50 foot rolls from the same link ols1932 provided. The product is awsome and you should always carry some with for a road repair if needed.
It doesn't like to come off, as others mentioned, it's meant to stay put. You can do it, but you'll be in for a battle.

Eternabond is the way to go for your repair. Its the perfect fix for that type of problem. As stated above make sure you clean the area up really good before putting down the tape.In fact when my caulking needs to be replaced I will use Eternabond instead of caulking.I have already taped around the sky light with eternabond. Its great stuff and a ONE time fix.

Go to Dicor, the roof mfr. They have repair kits for the roof.

Last spring I found a number of tears in the edge of the roof on our Monty, found a product called Quick Roof at a local RV supply (sounds a lot like the description of eternabond, same prep' directions). Applied to roof, permanent repair! Just looked it up at CW, on sale $11.99/$9.99 6X16" roll.
