For some reason we have to post as a new topic to reply in this forum.

Vermonter: Highland Orchards is a beautiful campground, with swimming pool(s), well maintained sites, close to area attractions, the Ocean and Long Island Sound. We haven't stayed there yet but we were shown around when we looked at campers there.

Random Line: March is still pretty chilly in New England. April can be nice and warm and of course all the trees and flowers are starting to bloom. I must caution you, however, we have had snow in April and of course April SHOWERS. The old saying for New England weather is "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute". It can change that quickly. If you want to ski there are many areas, especially Vermont and New Hampshire. We call the folks heading for ski areas "snow birds", traffic can be brutal. A word of caution: New England is VERY hilly and mountainous so be prepared to pull up hill a lot. (Check your brakes)

Does anyone have campground suggestions for Upper New York state, we will be heading up there within the next few days. Thank you.
