spring clamps

We found that the "spring keeper clamps" on our springs had worked themselves loose. put them back to the place you could see they had been and tightened them. Just another thing to look for. Ubolt nuts were also a little loose. Anyone else have the clamps loose

I guess we've been lucky, our clamps haven't come loose and neither have the u bolts

I need to crawl my big butt under my unit and check them to see if they are loose. I do a visible and don't where anything has moved. I guess I could put a socket on them and give them a twist to confirm.

I had one of the leaf spring bands come loose and clamped it back by using a pair of vice grips. I tightened the u-bolts to the proper torque and check them regularly, but they have not required any further tightening.
