Dripping Water see photo

I have attached a photo of my problem. Water is dripping from this vent? on the ODS of my Montana. What is this? Where would the water be coming from.

Thank You for any help you can provide.

That is your fresh water tank overflow / vent.

Check to see how much water is in your fresh water tank.

Double check that you actually attached your water hose to the "CITY WATER" inlet in the convenience center NOT the potable water/fresh water inlet in the convenience center. I made this mistake this summer and had water coming out of that inlet/outlet until my neighbor knocked on the trailer door to let me know.

I doubt very much the tank is leaking, at least not through the vent. The tank is much lower in the camper... between the main trailer frames. Water does not leak uphill. I can't imagine there is anything wrong with the actual tank.

If water is coming out that vent, there is only one way for that to happen. The water tank is completely full and water is still entering the tank, pushing water under pressure out that vent. There no pressure in the tank, that's what the vent is for, to prevent pressure from happening and to prevent a vacuum from happening when water is extracted from the tank. But if water is being pushed uphill into that vent, then water is being pumped into the tank somehow.

Check your connections and valve switches and make sure you do not have winterizing switched on, or you are switched to fill the fresh water tank.

If the check valve on the Water Pump is leaking while you're connected to a fresh water supply it will allow that fresh water to pass through the water pump and fill your Fresh Water Holding Tank, resulting in water coming out of the Overflow/Vent.
It's happened to me and plenty of others here.

Thank You all I was able to check out the rig and yes it was a full fresh water tank that was overflowing very slowly. The water valve was set in the proper direction but a slow leak through the valve or pump filled the tank.

On our current trip, before we hit the road I had run some water thru the fill valve to have in the FW tank for potty stops on the road. After setting up at our site, I noticed there wasn't much water pressure at the sinks. Just then DW tells me there's water running out the back. Sure enough I hadn't switched the valve back all the way and was over filling the tank.
