White chalky reside from roof

I washed the rig before I went camping last week. Wash and wax solution. I noticed there were white powder substance on the ground after a rain . I got up on the ladder yesterday and my roof is chalky. Comes off on your hand. DO I have a serious problem? The rig has sat out side all summer waiting on a building to get finished... Thanks in advance.

Without seeing it, I would say not to worry about it.

Very normal as has already been said. If you get up and scrub the roof it will remove most of it but if you don't continually rinse the sides while scrubbing the roof that white residue will be all over the sides of your 5'er.

Typical for an EPDM roof, part of the reasons some Mfrs are switching to TPO material.

This is not just a little reside. I have never seen this before to this extent. There was a LOT on the ground at campground and still more since I have been home. Looks like ground up chalk on the driveway where it has run off the top. Never did this before. Has me concerned.

If were mine I would wash with some dish soap and soft brush and see what you may have a build up off stuff it almost like oxidation on the roof.
