Need Advice on Trucks

Hi Guys
We have started to look at trucks wanting to find just the right one to pull our Montana. Went to Carson City this week-end to a Dodge dealer, they had a lot of nice 3500 Dodge Rams, Well the salesman told us that we did not want a dually because of the extra weight that the two extra tires would have. What do you think??? I know that some of you have them, and would like to here from you. Also what about just the 4 tires he said that they had more pull power????
