EV s are very close to what most families are looking for in a car. The magic price according to the information I have found in the last few days is about $33000 and the range is about 200 miles. The missing link is charging stations. There isn’t enough of them and they are too far apart and cost too much to install.
EVs are cheaper to operate. And the performance is definitely there. How about a quarter mile in 9.4 seconds at 152 mph with a range of 390 miles. Zero to 60 in 2.1 seconds.

For those American RVers, whose financial net worth (value of all assets minus all debts) puts them into the top 20% category, about $500,000+ these days, their grand or great grand children heirs might be able to get into a private army protected walled community with its own food production and source of water, not able to be tapped by the financially less fortunate 80%, who will have to simply fight among themselves for survival. This coming calamity will not affect us currently in the lower 80%, therefore, some advise, we should not be expected to sacrifice in trying to stop it. It’s not our problem!

We will go EV ourselves, see Tesla semi truck.
