Thanks...

We'll be measuring twice, buying once... hopefully no cutting involved! Splendide sounds so ...we'll watch for sales!

CW has the best sale prices. Actually, when not on sale my wife called several dealers and the closest installed was $346 more than CW. Location makes a difference on other dealers

We have a 2020 3761FL. We put the stackable Slendide in the half bath. Took my husband the morning to do it. That way we kept all the closet space. I don’t know how to add a photo on here. Let me know if you want photos.

Not many of us ~~ owners of a 3761 FL. I have a 2019.5 and thinking of a sub-forum for owners of our model. What do you think?

Washer and dryer are on my must have list. We had a Splendide combo unit in our first RV, slow and small capacity but worked fine. Second RV had stackables (not Splendide) larger capacity and worked great but you could only use one of them at a time. Current Montana (2016 3000RE) has Splendide washer on one side of the closet and dryer on the other side. Lost some shelves on both sides but this works fine. We always heard the dryers should be vented to work more efficiently, and that's what we've always had. Love the new models, larger capacity, both can run at the same time and do a great job. Good luck to you. Enjoy your new RV.

We have a Montana High Country. Had to remove bedroom door trim and set of drawers to get a vented Spendide separate washer and dryer in the bedroom closet. Very little wiggle room to work. Also, make sure to buy reinforced stainless steel hose. We did not and have to pull it out and replace plastic one, just to be safe.

keep an eye on total delivered price: including shipping. I found that the places with the lowest prices had the highest shipping costs.

CW had an $80 shipping price, with a 15% off first order coupon it was attractive for me when I bought in January '20.

More than once ~~ the parts mgr I know well at CW would have me purchase items online for free shipping and use the CW address with my name over his. When they know you after years.

Thanks for all the ideas & advice. We hang mostly shirts/tops so wouldn't miss much storage placing a stackable set side-by-side with space in the middle. Lots of things to think about...

Unhappy

Have been looking at the stackable pair this weekend, had a combo years ago and it did suck.

I can get them on Amazon, free shipping but costs about $100.00 more than getting them from CW and they include the mounts, vent and pan at that price.

I can install them myself but at $440.00 to let CW do it (if it's done correctly, big if) is not worth the effort to have them shipped to the house, figuring out exactly how to do it, getting them in the RV and all the work of cutting the two holes (vent and pan overflow). Then there is the inevitable trip to the doctor and the I told you to pay to have it done.

We're getting the Splendide vented combo. Did all the measurements and all looks good. However, the raised floor in the closet will either need to be reinforced or removed all together. Kind of flimsy for a "washer prep" package.

Correct, a combo is not worth the money, time or effort Been there and it was given away quickly. The Splendide is in our 2nd Montana and is great!
CW has installation on sale now. I had them install in our Montana when purchased and had them move to the new one as well. 1st install was either $59 or $79 each, 2nd was part of the purchase negotiations. Only problem with the installs they connected cold/hot lines opposite.

lg combo washer dryer

we bought the lg wm3488w [ATTACH]7726[Click image for larger version

ID:	7726 so the door must be removed to get washer in. we have a 3791rd pc richards delivered right in in minuets, washer is just less than an inch too deep but we just put a curtain up. full timing my wife has been using it daily for 2 years with no issues. with the spin speed it does shake the trailer but the one in our house even shook the floor in the house. very little drying is needed because of this. dryer is non vented and they don't make a vented in this size. venting may make a difference in rv washers but this works very well. of course the key is small loads good luck with your choice

Went with the Splendide stack and the wife couldn't be happier, ans as we all know that is all that matters.
She found if you run a second high speed spin on each load drying time is cut in half.

Will definitely take measurements prior to purchase!
Pete'nSue - Can you tell me what Samsung Washer and Dryer you are considering as I also planning to install a washer and dryer in our 2021 Montana 3120RL.

I am looking to install the Splendide stackable washer and dryer in our 2021 Montana 3120RL. There is a separate closet in the bedroom that is preped for washer and dryer. If anyone has any photos of an installation in this closet and specifically of where you drilled the hole for the vent I would appreciate it. Any other advice about the installation would also be appreciated.
