water leak

I have a new 374 had the ac running all weekend and notice water dripping from the ceiling. Would it be a clogged drain of some kind getting back in side. It will be weeks before dealer can look at it.

Could be ice on the evaporator coil melting. Is it humid where you are?

I have had the same thing happen to me, the vent closest to the AC. I speculate that internal humidity is condensing on the ductwork. I checked the output and it's 58 degreased F. I suspect that's the cause. I can't see external water coming in it runs down the gutters.

When you do get it to the dealer have them pull the unit and make sure it's taped up right in there. Besides those things mentioned above you could have the drain for the condensation closed or partially closed. Pull the cover and you can find the drain holes.

Several years ago it was about 98 degrees with 98% humidity. Water was pouring out a ceiling vent. Removing the vent I found a seam where they joined the duct run separated in the bedroom ceiling. The hot attic air entering that duct work condensated like no body's business Luckily I could reach it from the vents. Repaired it with aluminum tape. Has held for years.
