305rl tail gate

Has anyone solved the bouncing trailer "tail gate" problem?
When it's in the storage up position, it moves 3 to 4 inches at the top. It came standard on our 305RL.

Thanks for the help.

I had no idea what he meant by "tail gate" .
Makes sense its the rack though.

Seems like a simple ratchet strap(s) would take care of any unwanted movement in the stored position.

If it’s like the one on a 345rl there should be two positions to pin it in. 1 for when it’s down and, 1 when it is in the upright position. The pin goes through the rack and, mounts. Mine doesn’t move when pinned right.

Yes, the storage rack.
Mtncrash1, as you said there are 2 holes for the pins. 1 for the up position and 1 for the down position. How could it be pinned wrong?

Not saying you pinned it wrong. One of the first couple of times I pinned mine up I didn’t put the pins through the rack and the frame. That would cause your movement to be that much. Fortunately I noticed my mistake and fixed it.
