Shouldn’t be an issue with fireplace all nite.. it’s protected with an internal overtemp sensor and of course the AC circuit it’s plugged into is also protected..

It is gonna cost a bit to run it for an extended period of time. I’d ballpark about 9 cents an hour to run in high position mode...

And I wouldn’t leave the RV unattended with any electric heater..

When the rear wall got knocked off ours we slept in the lounge. Fireplace kept us warm all night, even in sub freezing temps

We do not leave ours on at night. Have an electric oil radiator type heater we use. As a matter of fact, it is on now, as it is cold here in Florida.

We have left ours on at night all the time on the auto eco. temp setting, really makes a difference how much the heat pump or furnace runs.

We leave ours running all night. I would not leave it on if we left the unit for any length of time.

We have never felt comfortable leaving ours on at night or when we leave the camper.

We have an oil filled radiator type heater for those situations.

We have left our fireplace on all night and it does a great job of keeping the chill away. However I wouldn't leave it running while we were away from the coach.

We leave ours on, never had any problems doing so. Electric cost not seem high to me.

We've left ours on all nite numerous times. Much quieter than either the furnace or heat pump.

A few years ago there were some posts about burned wires/terminal blocks in their fireplaces. Haven’t seen that lately, so maybe that has been corrected.

Don't forget that the fireplace won't keep your pipes from freezing so use the furnace for really cold weather.

Just camped for 4 days over the holiday weekend (Cold and windy 20 at night). After getting everything all set up the first thing I did was turn om the fireplace. It ran 24/7 until we departed. No issues at all.

I was parked at Elkhart 4h Fairgrounds and ran the Fireplace and propane when it got down to 23. At 4 am we were froze up. I shut off all electric heat and ran the propane for 15 hours to thaw things out. So now any time the outside temp drops below freezing I shut down electric heat and only run propane. Costly but not as bad as replacing busted water lines and equipment. 3721 2017 Montana.

Let er rip. Its just a fancy version of a regular electric heater. You could run it without the flames on just to save wear and tear on whatever mechanism it is that runs the flames.
