3561RL Bedroom washer/dryer vs storage

We are considering the 3561RL (Length 38'-5" and the one with the bed room couch sitting against the front cap.) It appears that the wardrobe closet is not tall enough to allow washer/dryer stacked so it will require installing side by side. Will the entire width of the closet be used for the washer/dryer? Thanks

Steve,

Welcome to the forum! It is a great place to learn and share.

We have not added a washer and would rather have the storage. Don't mind using the laundromat.

Welcome to the forum! We full time so we would never be without our washer/dryer. Also, since we full time we value our space so for us we have a Splendede combo washer/dryer and it's served us well for the last 8 years.

We also have the Splendide 2100 combo. It is 24 x24 and 33 inches high, took only the removal of one shelf, out of three in our pre-plumbed closet. Ours is vented, did have to cut 4inch hole for the dryer vent.

We have used the combo washer/dryer previously. We now have the stand alone washer dryer in our SOB and prefer it. But the combo looks to be the answer for this rig. Thanks, Steve

The boss says that will be a ditto for us! She hates going to a public laundry mat!

We are long timers and have the same set up as DQDick. It is doing a load as we type.We have been using it for 12 years. It is a necessity for us.

Even before we went FT it was a done deal for us to have a W/D. We however have the Splendide separates and are very happy with them.

Send a message via AIM to northern lights
We F/T and use our W/D space for a front opening freezer.

We have the combo and are happy with it. It does have a learning curve but better than going to the laundromat.

Can you do a King bed set of sheets and pillow cases at one time?

We do the sheets separately. You can do both, but come out wrinkled.

We have a Splendide 2100 vented outside. Be careful cutting the hole. Our mark was in the wrong place. Fortunately I drilled a pilot hole first. then the 4".

We will never use a laundromat again . Once someone washed a bunch of oily rags, or something, that got motor oil on all of the clothes in that washer. Then another time someone dried beach towels before us without washing them, i think, and our clothes came out sandy and smelled like suntan oil.

We wash king size sheets in ours. Buy the microfiber sheets from Amazon. They are comfortable, thin, and dry quickly.

Lastly, you can use the W/D for a hamper.

Same here. Some laundrys in CGs are really foul...not to mention the inconvenience.

I got the booklet ($4.95) from http://www.aboutrving.com/store/wrin...ee-rv-laundry/ about doing laundry in a combo unit. I've read it but haven't had a chance to try most of it because we're just leaving on a long trip at the end of the month. She has been using hers for a long time and has some good ideas. I'm going to try them, even if they do sound a little unconventional, like putting a set of sheets in all at once.

I have a question for you. Management (aka DW) wants to spend the 5 bucks to see what she had to say. I tried purchasing it with PayPal and it failed on all three browsers (I.E., FF. and Chrome) I have available. PayPal is working fine. I did email the hosting/broker about the problem, with no response yet.

My question to you is "did you use PayPal to purchase the ebook/PDF???"

I believe I used PayPal with a credit card, using Chrome. This was in September.

PayHip, the company that handles the sale interface, wrote me that the seller needs to upgrade to the new checkout system. They promised to let me know when that occurs. Until then, no PayPal.
