Auto sliders are one of the best inventions for tow vehicles, but I say again, it will not matter what the hitch is if the pin box is longer than the half width of the truck box, and it doesn't rotate above the sides of the truck box. You will hit the inside of the truck box rails before you hit the cab.

Totally agree with fulltilt. I have a 13' Ram and Mor/Ryde pin box. I hit the inside mounted tonneau cover rail with the back of the pin box making a u-turn on an uneven surface. Thankfully no major damage, just a nice gouge in the tonneau rail, but another inch it would have cut into the bed rail. Never came close to the cab and a slider won't help this.
