What Type of grease for Wet Bolts

What type of grease is best for greasing the wet bolts. I am upgrading all of my suspension bolts, adding the SRE 4000. I was thinking about water proof (green) but afraid that may get to hard.

Was thinking about saying "sticky grease", but that's just my old smart a** self kicking in. I know you don't need high-speed nor waterproof. I've been using the same lithium grease I use on my mower and other stuff. It's worked fine this far.

I use the same grease I use to do my wheel bearings, I have the "Never Lube" axles and have a grease gun loaded with wheel bearing grease. Give the wet bolts a couple of shots at least once a year.

No need for a special grease on the wet bolts in my opinion. As Walt says "sticky is good".

Check the dexter website, they have a chart of "approved" grease brands. I use Mystic JT-6 from the list for ease of buying. You may want to look into replacing the wet grease fittings with 45 or 90 degree fittings...makes greasing a lot easier, unless you take the tires off.

Thanks all for the input. Installed the SRE 4000 and wet bolts on my 2005 3400 today. All bolts took grease no problem. I utilized all of the tips I found on this forum like chamfering the holes and pumping grease in the bolts before I install them to verify that the holes are clear to making sure the holes are at 3 or 9 o'clock. I was amazed at how easy this install was. The worst part was crawling in and out from under the rig. Installing the rubber pin box this weekend.
