New Adventure

Starting our new adventure this Sunday. We accepted a Volunteer position with the Corp. of Engineers to man a Day Park/Rec. Area that is closed for the winter here in Tennessee just outside of Nashville. Nice knowing we now have a place for the winter rent free and all utilities included. We are hoping this may lead to getting a summer position with them also.

Thanks to those that gave us the ideas and tips on how to do this.

Scott

Out in Kansas the Corps is great to work for. Hope you find the same thing there.

We just finished a 3 month camp host stay at Florence Marina State Park in Georgia. We go to the new Don Carter State Park on Lake Lanier in October for 3 more months. Looking forward to the mountains and the fall weather.

Congrats Scott, that has to make you feel a little better after your obvious other disappointment Sunday (Go Bears!) We are still planning on being down there in the Nashville KOA around the end of December.

I hear ya! My son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren live in Milwaukee. The DW wanted to retire up there (grandkids, ya know) and I wanted to go to Arizona. We compromised to NW Arkansas...that was the best I could do
