Water heater - What am I doing wrong?

Just setting up my Montana for the season and everything seems OK except I can't get the electric water heater going. The water heater works fine on propane but I am sure last year I ran electric most of the time. I turned on the breaker on the panel. What else do I need to do? The toggle switch for the heater on the display next to the sink (that shows the waste tank levels) is only for the propane heater right? So what am I doing wrong?

Snowbunny, on that gas switch should be a small pilot light. Ours is between the "htr" and "pump" switches. When you turn the gas switch on that pilot light should light up. When the gas ignites at the water heater that light will go out. Give it 15 or 20 seconds. Ours is close enough to the heater I can also hear the click and hear the burner ignite but that light is what I watch for. I assume yours works the same.
