Yet another scam to be aware of:
Nope, this is not one of those FW: things friends send you, send everyone as a matter of fact. BTW, I always delete any FW's, I like emails, but if someone is just hitting the FW button on something they got...not interested.
Back on track now, I just got an official looking email that said UPS, had a fuzzy UPS logo, box and all, it said "A UPS package is being sent to your home" then had an attachment they wanted me to open; DELETE...
Then my security notice popped up, security threat, then it did something with it and sent me another notice that my computer is safe.
Imagine, someone trying to scam a poor old retired fart.
Not nice at all....

These have been going around for a while. UPS, Fedex, DHL, etc. If there is a zip file attachment, DO NOT open the zip file, delete the entire message. Once you start getting them, there will be a bunch of them coming so be alert.

No, not nice...but the dirt bags out there seem to target the "the more experienced" population more and more.

One other thing to think about.......how did they know your email address????? I think I'm safe in saying that UPS,FedX don't ask for your email address.
If you aren't expecting a package and you get a message like Ozz did, don't think twice about deleating it. (I got the same message yesterday and deleated
it w/o looking at it).

The old adage, "curiosity killed the cat", holds true here. Curiosity can kill the computer. Don't open.
