3 months to retirement

Well our dealer (Greenway RV) in Wisconsin Rapids called us Tuesday night to tell us our new 3455SA was delivered. It is a 2011 Model and is it fantastic! We got to walk thru it Wed night on the way to SD. We can't take delivery until August it is going to be a really really long three months.
Laurie even suggested we camp in sleeping bags under it until August we really hated leaving Greenway RV without it.

why wait 3 months if it's there, seems strange.

Unfortuneately we have to wait to get our 401K money to pay for it. When ordered it was set to deliver closer to August but the Factory schedule placed it earlier. We are just happy that it is there as it takes one worry of a late delivery and having to stay in our apartment any longer.

Hurry Retirement!!!!

Congratulations on the new Montana. The time for you to pick it up will be here before you know it. I can imagine the anticipation of waiting though. I hope you really enjoy it and get many years of service from it.

That explains it, enjoy your Montana, we have loved ours as we fulltime. Also enjoy the MOC, if you have a problem or question there are a bunch of folks who will respond with good answers. This is a good group by and large. Aslo enjoy your retirement.

Rent it from the dealer, then buy it used for initial cost minus rent. It's been done before - at dealer's discretion.

Well, Congrats on the Monty, Congrats on the retirement and Congrats for finding the "Best Darned Forum on the WWW"! I really beleive this statement. Without the MOC I would have never been able to fulltime as stress free as I have.

Just think, with three months before you pick up your new home, you will have plenty of time to "Outfit" it. That is code for "Spend all your hard earned money on it"! LOL Anyway, Good Luck also!!!!!
