Finally going camping for 1st time this year

Went to the mini-storage yesterday to hook up the rig to bring it to the house so we can prepare for the first trip of the year. Local State Park in Kentucky and looking forward to a site next to Bill-N-Donna (provided they can get out of the yard!!). Received a pleasant surprise that the battery was still holding charge and raised and lowered the rig without a problem for hook-up. Hope to install the hot water heater element that I fried last Thanksgiving. Got a replacement at Lowes and had to settle for a 1500w element vs. the OEM 1440 watt one. I don't suppose the difference will amount to anything?? Hope to get a new kitchen faucet installed as well since the outside shell has decided to not want to stay on the stem when the dishwasher is hooked up or the sprayer is engaged. I believe it is a result of the winterization process used a year ago in that the sprayer was not engaged to allow the pink stuff to pass through it. Regardless, have to replace it to let DW use the Vesta dishwasher again. It has been a long winter and spring and we are looking forward to getting out again!!

Looking forward to this week end also! No problem with the water. The water was gone in about an hour or two after the pictures. I’ve been trying to nap to get prepared to go out on nights tonight. What I was worried about was whether or not I could get the hitch back on the truck. I had a new bed liner sprayed in and in order to do that they had to remove the hitch framing and then re-install it. I had to know so I just went out and moved the hitch back to the hitch frame and everything is ok. WHEEEEW sure glad it fit.

Sure hope you get everything fixed back smoothly.
