Frozen black water tank

I almost certain that my black water tank is frozen. I don't believe it is frozen all the way, but I can't drain the tank. I have now put antifreeze in the tank. What can I do now other than go to warmer weather?

can you get a heat tape around the drain pipe to the tank? or how about picking up a heat gun and running it up and down the pipe? it could be frozen where it exits the tank, paper buildup and then froze. Sounds like you need to add antifreeze at every dump.

Sorry to here about your troubles..........hope you dont have the same problem that Icehouse had .........Their valve got stuck and was not operating because it seperated from the actuator.........he had to manually operate it with pliers or something.....also I believe they had issues with their paper not dissolving right.......maybe they will chime in.

How cold is it, where you are? It would have to be pretty cold, to freeze your tank.
Could the Valve be broken or the tank be plugged with TP?
Just throwing things out there.

Thanks fot the info. Im going to remove the cover under the trailer and check the valve. If that is ok then I'll work on thawing the tank.

We don't have internet now, but I found it for a moment. Try dropping your belly and if you have a propane Mr. Buddy heater, put that up there. Try it. We will try to sign on in a few days and see how you are.

It has warmed up some and the tank is now working properly. Good news. Thanks for your comments.

Next time consider pouring as much hot water down the toilet as you can get in there or you run out of hot water. We once cleared up a frozen galley tank dump pipe, the one exposed outside the belly, that way.
