Pullrite SuperGlide 18K Hitch, Etc.

I am considering the purchase of the SuperGlide 18K Hitch, with the SuperRail underbed mounting and the Quickconnect Capture Plate.

1. Does the QuickConnect Capture Plate restrict towing any other 5th wheel besides the one we would own?

2. How do I determine the PullRite stock number or Item number for the "plate" if I as yet, don't know the Lippert ID or that number?

3. If towing a 3400 RL is a 16K sufficient or should I consider going bigger to the 18K/

Thanks everyone,
Dennis

It is my understanding that the 16K Superglide is being replaced with the standard 18K now. I have the Superglide and have been 100% satisfied with it. Highly recommend the Superglide for short bed owners.

Unless any other coaches have a "plate" on their kingpin, one cannot tow them with a Superglide hitch. The "quick connect capture plate" is new, sorry I cannot give any input on it.

I have the 16K version with the quickconnect capture plate. This plate as I remember, when I researched it, will only fit certain pin boxes from Lippert. I would contact Pullrite for the applications this will work on.

I appreciation the responses received from harleyf250, Montana Sky,and jmd80ta. The Montana I am purchasing has the Lippert 1116 king pin which QuickConnect capture plate is made for. I am looking at a company out of Ill. that will ship the hitch, rails and plate to the RV dealer I am purchasing the unit from with no shipping costs and remarkable price. The Pullrite Superglide 18K was only a few dollars more so that's what we will be getting and it is indeed replacing the 16K unit. Many thanks! Dennis
