coolant question

This thread is making us do some research...a good thing. In checking the manual and maintenance booklet that I have, I discovered 2 additives. Ford states one should add 2 pints of FW15 when the coolant change is done. Then, every 15,000 miles add 8 to 10 ounces of FW16 additive to prevent cavitation. I have been using one from NAPA.
I have a 01 with green coolant.

Bottom line is make sure the coolant says it meets the spec numbers mentioned in the owners manual. On the Ford 6.0 the coolant was Gold. And based on the price, I'd say that was an apt color.
