2015 "Correct Track Wheel Alignment"

Does anyone have any information about this mandatory option that will be on our 2015 3440RL. As I understand it will allow for an actual wheel alignment as compared to years ago bending the axles.

Do any of you 2015 owners have any additional information that you could share?

Thanks

According to the dealer when we bought our 2015, that is exactly what it is, although tbey claimed no experience with it.

As I understand it Correct Tack only aligns the axles fore / aft and to one another(tracking). Camber still has to be done by bending the tube or replacing the axle itself. There are 4 sided adjusters with an offset hole in them ... each turn makes 1/4" difference for / aft. Due to the design, I also think this is why Montanas and SOB's with the option sit a bit higher. The shackle is longer to accomodate this system. Also, since most any dealer doesn't have alignment abilities ... it will be done offsite by a vendor.

Here is the information on the Lippert "correct Track" system. I don't know why this would be a "mandatory" option on the 2015 Montana's. Just another thing you have to invest in to ensure your axles are lined up from side to side. As dieselguy said this does nothing for camber and caster adjustments. It only ensures both sets of axles are in alignment from one side to the other.

Guess it lets them off the hook to ensure the spring hangers are welded on the frame in the correct place on the first go round. Looks to me to be fairly flimsy for the weight of some of these new units and the stress put on those hangers.

Won't be something I will be investing in anytime soon...
