Home II

Well, we brought her home 2 wks ago and with no problems! You were right our Chev pulled it w/no problem, infact hardly knew it was behind us. Hubby's hands were not sweating! Now parked next to the house and we will be spending this weekend "boondocking" in the back yard. It has rained 3 out of 5 days and so far no leaks. Thanks to this forum of helpful and experienced Montana owners this newbie to RV ing is READY.
Will spend the time trying to understand the surround system and trying out the shower and oven/microwave combo. Never used one. Will let you know how we fared.

Wis. newbies and "Cricket" our Cocker Spaniel
(she travels better than the kids ever did)
all in 1 bed!

Congratulations on the Monty. Backyard boondocking is a great way to get used to how it all works. Have fun--you should fare just fine!!!

Syplace, I am interested in how you decided you needed an air ride hitch for your coach. If you have time please give me any information about your air hitch, name, cost, how it is installed, etc. I would be greateful for your opinion.

Happy "backyard" camping! It is a good way to get to know your Montana. Happy to hear you are "leak free"!

Congratulations - no leaks!!! Isn't backyard camping fun? We lived in our unit for two weeks to become familiar with all systems. It is so cozy, comfortable and easier to keep clean than the big stick house. It's been a great play house and place to escape for some quiet time. Just love it (will love it even more when it stops leaking)!

Had our 3295 out over the 4th for a few days for the first time. No serious problems. Lots of space and a real joy to be in. Have fun and let us know how it goes.
