First trip problems

Got our rig out of moth balls and on our first trip we blew a water line leading to faucet in the galley. You would think that after doing this for over thirty years I would know how to winterize.

Anyway does anyone have an idea where I can get a replacement faucet?? I bought one from home depot but it is not going to work. Does anyone know if there are plastic reducers.

I am thinking I need to go to one half inch to three eighths??

Hi,
Check at Home Depot, they have reducers.

If the home stores don't have what you need I would think just about any RV dealer would have something to at least get you by.

I've seen where others have put home faucets in their rigs but always thought it was a straight across replacement. If you do go with a home type would you be so kind as to let us know what modifications, including reducers, you had to do?

Thanks.

I have a brand new one for our 2008 3000RK. CW gave me a replacement rather than tighten up the original one. I just took the original one and cleaned it up and tightened it and it works fine. They still gave me the new one, still in box on shelf beside the new decals Burlington sent me.
I would be glad to sell you this brand new faucet.

Thanks for all the responses. We used a Moen faucet from Home Depot I had to move it around a little to accomadate the 40/60 sinks and this changed the way the faucets open ours open front to back instead of side to side but we got a sprayer that we did not have earlier. WooHoo.

I had to 1/2 inch nipples and two 20 inch flex lines to finish the hook up commplete. All in all the replacement/repair cost was under two hundred and only took about a few hours.
