Update on Hydraulics Creeping

I pick up our Monty from our Dealer so we can use it this weekend after they did the latest tests that Lippert requested all checked out fine on Tuesday and everything was good. So yesterday morning they went into the shop to finish getting it back together and found the slide was out about 2 inches so they are calling Lippert and asking for a new pump Assembly again. Hopefully they will send out this time so we can resolve the problem.

did they really do a cylinder test to see if the seals are not bypassing oil? The pump is just that, a pump, it won't stop oil from moving. Also is there a check valve in the manifold,if that is leaking back to tank it creates the same problem.

Ours did that one time and the entire pump assembly had to be replaced -- bad check valve.

Thats what they have said at the dealer. The pump and valves are all one unit

We just got our rig back last Friday from the dealer for the third time for this same kind of problem. All of our slides had been creeping out since September and we would see a fluid rise of about 1/4 - 1/2 inch in the reservoir after the slides had been retracted for a few hours or so. The system was obviously not holding pressure. This time they finally replaced the pump assembly and it appears to be holding pressure so far with no fluid rise in the reservoir. Apparently a bad check valve in the old pump.

I hope they finally get sorted out for you Don....I know you have been dealing with this for a long while. Keep us posted.

Had this problem with ours and the dealer replaced the cylinder. That did the trick.
