Underbelly Sealing Materials

What do you use to seal the underbelly cracks and holes with to keep critters out?
Thinking of using silicone sealer in small cracks and expanding insulation foam in larger holes.
For big areas possibly use sheet metal or other material and screw/glue in area and then seal cracks.
What say you!!!

Go to your local roofing contractor and ask for some rubber underlayment. They should have lots of scraps lying around.

Then you can put it on with Gorilla tape or Eternabond tape.

In addition to what has been mentioned, I have used Gorilla tape. Our rig is four years old...and the tape is still there.

Dmax07, I'd recommend you choose a method that still allows airflow from the larger openings, like around the slide rails and other larger openings. The reason is if you are ever in subfreezing weather, it's the furnace pumping heated air into that belly that keeps the lines from freezing. If there is nowhere for the displaced air to go, then it's not going to pump much warm air into the belly. Plus it might create additional stress on the furnace. The newer rigs have better protection for the water lines (2007 and later, for sure) but if temperatures will get into the low twenties or lower then you probably need furnace air in the belly.

Some have used screening material over the larger openings so they still have the airflow.

Just some thoughts.
