wax left on rims = no spiders

Before I put my vinyl wheel covers on for the 6 1/2 months of living here by the Salton Sea, I 303'd the tires and cleaned & waxed the rims & left the wax on. Today when I pulled off the covers there were NO spiders. I dont know about anyone else but whenever I take my covers off after an extended stay the rims are always covered with webs & eggs etc. Took a few minutes to wipe the wax off & my wheels look showroom. Jes thought I'd pass it on. Dave

Maybe wax is no good for a creature that makes its living off of being sticky.

Good tip!

I winterized with peppermint oil on cotton balls everywhere as a mouse deterrent. No mice at all so you never know what works.
