Yup, use an Extend-A-Stay adapter. Pretty common for fulltimers in cold country.

At our winter home base we have a full size home propane tank that the propane company fills just like at a stick house. They made a hose for me that connects where the propane tanks connect under the rig at the frame. Just another option if it's available.

Thanks for this post. We had been pondering the same thing. We've decided to keep our Montana until the paramedics or the undertaker carries us out which will involve a semi permanent setup at some point.

One the same subject we've considered a "senior" RV park. I'm already where a full propane tank is more than I can handle on my own.

Our propane vendor did the same for me at our S&B, 100 gallon "pig"

Our winter home base is just that. A lot at The Ranch, an Escapee park in Lakewood, NM. It's just north of Carlsbad. Pretty close to half the lots have a big tank and they come the second wednesday of every month, in the winter, and will keep your's full if asked.
