Low /no water pressure on pump.

We just got a 2004 3575RL and started our first trip. When we stopped for the first time and tired to use the pump it spit out alot of air and then we have little or no pressure. tank is 3/4 full. ON city water we have ok pressure but not great. I have an o/s filter with a 45 psi restrictor. any ideas? thx

Not sure I am reading this right, but, I believe you just need to run that thing till it stops spitting at cha. You should not be running the pump and the campground water at the same time, don't think you are, just throwing out that little tidbit

One benefit of lower water pressure is you don't fill the waste water tanks too quick.

Sure another MOC member or two will happen along and give you some more ideas.

Enjoy that unit!

LBMIKE24, I assume you left a faucet open for 30 seconds or a minute or two in case the pump just needs priming.

Otherwise it sounds like there either is a loose connection in the lines, possibly where they connect to the pump, or a defective diaphragm in the pump itself. I'm not sure where the pump is located in your Montana but that's where I'd start looking.

Good luck. Please let us know what you find.

Turn on the pump and follow your ears, Mike!
