Out of the past 10 seasons, we've used our outdoor speakers maybe on 4 outings for part of one afternoon/evening. The bedroom speakers never.

We were camping in a state camp ground. There was about 4 camps people were staying in. 2 camps had guys with musical instruments. They were playing music and every body in the camp was there including the camp host. At 10 pm he made them quit playing. It was quiet hour. The host was enjoying the music too and wonted it to continue but it couldn’t. That was the rule. I had known him for years and not the say anything about him but he got caught shooting the game department’s robot deer. He wasn’t the smartest guy in the world.

We listen to music inside throughout our Montana including the bedroom while changing and cleaning. But we don't use the outside speakers in a campground.

I wouldn't use outdoor speakers very often, but I have a split bathroom, and listen to music when I'm in the shower.

Outdoor speakers are more of a tailgating thing if you ask me.

When we did our 1st trip to central Texas in our new Montana, we knew that getting a signal for TV would be a crap shoot. We bought a new low $$ Blu ray player and took a pile of movies from home. Decided to watch one of the Star Wars episodes the 2nd night. Little did we know we were blasting it to all the nearby campers through the outside speakers. Never got one complaint but next day the young couple next door mentioned that they enjoyed listening to the saga. The switches for the 3 sets of speakers are very much labelled poorly. In fact, I can hardly wait to change out the entire home theater pile of crap that Montana installed at the factory.

I listened to the speakers once. Didn't like having to go in to the rig to adjust the volume or using my cell phone outside. I now run a hot spot and use my Echo for music. Also doubles as a grill timer. I keep it in the rig so as not to disturb anybody. You can't hear it unless you're around the door. It can hear me from outside too. I know it's not for everyone, but it works for me.

our 2011 does not have speakers in bathroom nor outside-I am glad.
But the TV speakers in living room does not carry volumne so I had to add a sound bar to the tv so to hear it across the room without everyone hearing it outside.

We occasionally use the different speakers. if boondocking or empty camp ground ( still use a 20' rule) - biggest use is when its in the shop, use it for local radio channel. Use it to project TV son we don't miss movie when going up the stairs

The ones in our 381 are too high to be useful at a reasonable level. I just picked up some ryobi score bluetooth speakers on clearance at HD, they actually sound pretty good! Used them at a drive in the back of the truck as they have FM also. Very portable with battery or plug in, they were 64$ for a set, went back & got a second set for the shop. Also picked up a couple of add ons for 25$ a piece.

We chose our camp sights very carefully. I always chose a site on the end with no other sight towards the door side of us if possible. Even with that said, if we are listening to the outside speakers I will walk around on all sides a good distance away to make sure others would not be bothered by our music playing.
