10" steel "Rolled" I-Beam.
I have been reading and studying RV brochures for the last two years so
I believe a "Rolled" I-Beam " is a manufactured Structural Steel Beam that has to meet certain criteria. If I am wrong on this , someone can correct me.
Now the Montana Brochure states we have a 10" Steel Rolled I-Beam on our units.
The Mountaineer brochure says 10 " Steel I-Beam " no mention of "rolled"
Do these two lines have a different frame?
I have read somewhere that some manufactures make their own I-Beam frame up by welding material themselves . This system costs less but produces an I-Beam with different characteristics than a " rolled " I-beam.
How big an issue is this? Personally I feel better with knowing the type of frame I did get on my Montana.
Look at a Cougar brochure, there is no mention of any stuctural details at all. I found this very strange. Comments?
