Splitting door knobs

2019 Montana High Country. Manufactured in February 2019. Purchased new and had moved to permanent campground site in March 2019.

Used this unit March thru November of 2019 and March thru November of 2020.

Started using again in March of 2020 and noticed two door knobs were split, bathroom and kitchen pantry. See attached photos.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this happening.

Never saw that before. Go shopping at your favorite big box store for replacements. Doesn't have to be replaced with "RV" fixtures. That's what I did on our 2012 for the bathroom door due to some other failure. Your bathroom and kitchen faucets could be next and same applies.

Had the same thing happen to our bathroom door knob. I switched it with the pantry door knob. I don't need an inside door knob for the pantry door.
It was just a quick fix.

I noticed my closet door has split doorknobs. Is this an issue on other Montana’s?
My Montana is a 2019 3121rl.

I had two handles split on me. Easy to replace with a better knob. Purchased from Home Depot. Not very expensive and now I even have a lock if needed.
