Linoleum Repair
I imagine most of us have this happen along the way, but it sucks when they’re brand new. We got a rock under the kitchen slide that gouged the linoleum. Is there a method to repair gouges in flooring (other than rug camouflage)?

The old time repair was to cut out a square of the damaged area and use it as a template inside a cabinet to cut out your new insert for the floor, which you then have to glue in place and J roller.

Not quite ready to cut a piece out. We have a runner rug that can cover it. Thought there might be something you could use as a filler - whiz bang super polymer chameleon potion I wasn’t aware of yet.

You might try to locate a local flooring store what employs installers. Some of these people are artists when it comes to repairing vinyl flooring, and likely would be able to make this damage almost invisible.

Repair of Linoleum Flooring
Within our first year of a 3721RL a screw from the dining room slide had backed up, gotten broken off and up under the slide lip. Without knowing it was under there and when we opening the slide it literally drug that screw across the floor and gouged/cut the flooring. For a new trailer, I was thinking total floor replacement. The dealer had a local linoleum layer/repair guy come and repair it and when he was through you ultimately couldn't hardly see it. If we had not known where to look it would have been hard to detect by eye. I suggest to inquire with your local RV dealer and see if he can put you on to a local linoleum guy who has repair capability. Good luck.

Thanks, we’ll see about the linoleum dealer. We have a good dealer that installed our house floor coverings.

I agree with above. I didn't know linoleum could be repaired. But I just recently saw an advertisement for a local company that did that very kind of repair.

Recently the dealer did some repairs that ended up damaging the vinyl in the kitchen of a 373RD - dealer ordered a new piece of vinyl to replace whole kitchen vinyl - picking the right dealer is the whole story.

I had a nail head pop through the vinyl in our bedroom. I cut around the nail head enough to pull it out, then used some super glue to put the cut flap back down. After that, I used seam sealer to cover the cut around the nail head.
My brother was in the flooring business for 30 years. His advice on the seam sealer. Now I can't even find the repair it was so good.
