Weather

Yesterday was beautiful! We drove around looking at houses, watching people working in their yards, folks with their kids out walking in the parks, grills filled with burgers and dogs, it was great.
And then I woke up this morning you guessed it, SNOW. I am sooooooo ready for Summer!

Keep it up there Gramps! It was great here on Friday with temps in the upper 80's and low 90's and yesterday we had a nephew's son playing flag football and it was lucky to make it past 45 all day! Must have been your cold air from the snow! Last night it started
really cloud up heavy and by midnight we had thunderstorms and hail. We're in a tornado watch at the present time and will be till 8 PM. Temp is 64 right now and a nice soft breeze of 9 MPH. If you don't like Nebraska weather just wait 12 hours and it will change for you!

I feel your pain, Gramps. The weather here for most of yesterday, GORGEOUS. But before dark yesterday, SNOW. It's still snowing today, in fact.

The photo on the left was taken at 11:00 AM yesterday morning at my granddaughter's soccer game in Dillon (photo is of my granddaughter and my daughter ; the temperature was a breezy 42, but sunny). The next two photos were taken this morning at 11:00 AM. Quite a change from yesterday.

The forecast calls for rain and snow for the next 7 out of 8 days. So much for taking the Monty on a trial run over to the reservoir.

You know I'm starting to envy you northern folks. Down here it's pushing 90° most every day and the humidity is also climbing. I could use a few days of much cooler temps BUT you can keep that white stuff.

As we prepare to start our journey to the stick home tomorrow it is 36F here in Moab, UT while at the stick home in Washburn, WI it is 39F. Of course, that could change drastically and it could be white when we get to Washburn.

We are going through a "teaser" spell right now up here in the Boston area. 83 degrees yesterday, in the 70's today and forecasting over 90 tomorrow. I will be doing a shackle replacement on Wednesday and the forcast is for cooler weather thank goodness. I remember a year when we got snow on May 9th so it aint over until its over.

I would rather be shoveling sand off the patio than snow. We are looking to getting back on the north side of the "Cheddar Curtain" around the end of May. Key West weather is VERY nice, 81 during the day and 72 at night. The winds have been heavy for the last few weeks and it looks like our diving won't happen this trip either because of the wind. But the temps are great...
