air hitch

Does anyone know anything about the air ride conversion you can do to your existing hitch? It is manufactured by air safe. You keep your existing rails, tower and head. The new box is installed with 2 air bags then your head is connected to it. I know it is not cheap but I really don't care about that I just want to know if anyone has any experience with one or knows someone who has.

I have a Husky air ride with two air bags, it is like night and day with it over the rigid system, I love it and am glad I spent the extra $$.
I would imagine the Air Safe would be the same.

I have the TrailerSaver Air Ride hitch and really love it. The Air Safe hitch was my second choice. I don't think you could go wrong with an air hitch. Not sure I would want to Mix N Match parts though. Just a personal thing......

gitrdun, I haven't owned a Air Safe, but as Phil said the Trailer Saver is a great hitch. I had the TS when I had the Cambridge, and the 5er rode like it was on air. Left Coffe pot our on counter and can opener also. But I also had the Mor/Ryde pin box and suspension. I don't think you could go wrong with the Trailer Saver, If I decide to get the Air ride hitch it will be the Trailer Saver. Good Luck on your choice. GBY.....

Thanks for the feedback. I called the company and talked to the rep. He stated that they were suspending the box for reese because of so many model changes. I could buy the air box complete which would fit my rail system but it was 2100.00. Then he went on and said I could purchace the 20k hitch with full ride air (4 bags) for 2400. Free shipping and tax. Just like pizza every topping adds up. Think I will think this one over for a while, little woman didn't like the idea to much. A man just can't have any fun.
