Just Ordered Our New 5er

Well, we just ordered a new 3500RL today. We're really excited as we have had 5 campers over the years and this will be our first brand new rig. Don't know how long it will take, but it's ok. Unfortunately, it probably won't be in until November...looks like we'll be camping in the cold! Just wanted to share my good news.

Craig and Cheryl, welcome to our family. So what if it is in November when you get it. Being from MO. it is not too far down the road to warmer weather for a nice week end get away. Besides you will need to check all the systems out - right? We got ours the first of April here in Indiana and the first weekend we had it out and it was freezing but it was nice - warm - cozy and I am going to leave it at that.

CONGRATS! I ordered the same model the last week of January and it was delivered the last week of March. You should have yours by mid November or early since there is probably not a rush on units right now. I haven't had any problems out of mine. Just don't forget to check the unit out yourself a day or two before you do the real PDI. Give them a chance to adjust or fix anything or install any aftermarket stuff before the big day. Good Luck! Craig & Cheryl, congrats on an excellent choice of campers. We have looked at the 3500 and really like it for our lifestyle.

Craig and Cheryl,

Congratulations, I'm waiting for my new TV too so I know how long that sounds but I'm sure it will go quickly. You're ahead of me though, I have to get 500 miles on my new TV before I can drag my trailer to even camp in the cold! :O

Congratulations on your new addition. We got our new 3000RK about a month ago but haven't had a chance to take her on her maiden voyage yet. We are planning that for the weekend of the 22nd, for our 28th anniversary trip. We can hardly wait. In the meantime I have been spending hours and hours on this forum and in the Montana checking things I've read about here. It's a great place to learn alot of things in a short time from alot of really nice and knowledgeable people. There are no stupid questions, so feel free to ask what you will. You will always get the answer from someone.

Craig & Cheryl,

Congrat's on the new Montana. That's a great layout. We live in B.C. and love camping 12 months of the year.
It will be here before you know it.

Thanks so much for the nice welcome! It will be great to talk to those who have Montanas and pick everyone's brains. We've looked at this floor plan for a few years now...not with the Montana, but a few others had something similar. Over the weekend we had an RV show and well, the rest is history! I'm sure I'll have lots of questions, even though we've been doing this for quite a few years now, I think you are always learning! Thanks so much again.
Cheryl

Congratulations Craig and Cheryl,

Don't worry - we drove ours home from the dealer in the snow! Camping in it the next weekend. Didn't dampen our spirits any.
